Read setup guidesNo. Each NAS connector initiates an encrypted outbound connection to 1ProNAS. The design does not require public SMB, DSM access or normal port forwarding.
Yes. Every supported NAS has its own connector identity, while the customer sees all devices, sites, capacity, health and jobs in one dashboard.
Yes. A free 1ProNAS Integrator / MSP Partner workspace can manage multiple assigned client tenants and multiple technicians. Every client remains isolated with separate billing, users, policies, audit records and connector credentials.
The integrator account is Free Forever at USD 0. Each client selects and pays for its own 1ProNAS subscription. Integrator consulting, migration, maintenance or managed-service charges are separate from the 1ProNAS software subscription.
The client always owns its tenant, subscription, billing relationship, data, settings and connector identities. The client approves the integrator relationship, chooses delegated permissions and can revoke access without losing its data or subscription history.
Not by default. Health monitoring and connector troubleshooting can be delegated, but archive approval, billing changes and reclaim authorisation should remain client-controlled unless the client explicitly grants a carefully scoped permission. Reclaim still requires the normal verification and approval workflow.
It is designed to track growth, forecast warning and critical dates, identify old, large, inactive, duplicate and temporary-file candidates, estimate reclaimable capacity and guide administrators through archive and cleanup recommendations.
Not by default. The safe workflow is analyse, recommend, approve, archive, verify and only then reclaim. Originals should not be removed until the destination copy, checksum, retention and recovery path have been verified and the required approval is recorded.
Planned destinations include an archive share, another local or remote NAS, an approved workstation or external archive disk, SFTP, object storage and supported cloud or managed 1ProNAS archive capacity. A normal staff PC should not be the only long-term archive copy.
Not by default. Original files can remain on the customer’s NAS. The SaaS control plane holds metadata, indexes and temporary processing data required by enabled features. Hybrid cloud copies are optional.
The planned staff experience includes a responsive web workspace, mobile-friendly access and a desktop agent for a mapped company drive and files on demand.
Yes. The Migration Centre is designed for assessment, initial copy, incremental sync, permission mapping, verification, final cutover and a rollback window.
Administrators revoke active sessions and assignments, preserve client data, transfer responsibilities and review recent activity. Removing an integrator staff member does not delete or suspend the client tenant.
No security tool can make that promise. 1ProNAS is designed to scan locally where practical, quarantine suspicious files, block unsafe propagation and recover a verified known-good version when available.
