Permitted use
- Connect NAS devices and file servers you own or are authorised to manage.
- Monitor health, capacity, backup and connector status.
- Analyse authorised metadata and files according to client policy.
- Use approved migration, archive, verification and recovery workflows.
- Delegate access to verified staff and integrators using least privilege.
Prohibited use
- Accessing storage, accounts or data without authorisation.
- Sharing OTP codes, browser cookies, API keys, connector identities or signing keys.
- Uploading malware, illegal content or material that infringes another party’s rights.
- Attempting to bypass tenant isolation, rate limits, billing enforcement or security controls.
- Scanning unrelated internet systems, exposing SMB/NFS/admin ports, or using the platform as an attack relay.
- Submitting false payment, identity or partner information.
- Using unattended destructive actions before the required approval and safety controls are enabled.
Resource use
Clients and integrators must not intentionally overload APIs, send abusive email traffic, create excessive sessions, automate CAPTCHA solving or generate unnecessary connector traffic. Operational limits may be applied to protect all tenants.
Enforcement
1ProNAS may rate-limit, suspend credentials, revoke sessions, quarantine a connector or suspend access while investigating misuse. Serious or unlawful activity may be reported to the appropriate client owner, provider or authority.
